Jenna
Derby
“I would like to complete an apprenticeship as a Teaching Assistant and feel I am suitable for this role due to the experience I have gained living with children of different backgrounds, cultures, childhood trauma, childhood development, differing educational abilities. I feel a great sense of pride when the children accomplish the things that I try to teach them. I am naturally curious and am very interested in how children learn and grow, and I feel a great sense of achievement when we learn together. I find that teaching the foster children in our home comes naturally to me and we have fun doing it and I enjoy the interaction with all of them.”
